I am Mr. Volkan Karamustafa , a very well educated person coming from a nice family to whom you can trust with your life . I have graduated from Kadıkoy Anatolian High school which is one of the best ; following that finished Yıldız Technical University Chemical Engineering . I havent done engineering instead I own an antiques dealer . I live on the asian side . Unlike most of the hosts I own the place . I am straightforward helpful and nice . People leave my place inviting me to theirs . As mentioned in the reviews i am a helpful and social person who can be considered as a close friend in a foreign city . Superhosts are experienced, highly rated hosts who are committed to providing great stays for guests.

My sister and I stayed at The Blue Suites By V for three nights. It’s a very sweet little upstairs apartment very close to everything in Sultanahmet. You can walk out the door and be at the Blue Mosque, restaurants, shops, in just minutes. That means you can very easily swing back to drop things off, or take a nap midday, which is super convenient. The beds are super comfortable and the apartment is quiet except for the call to prayer, which I found to be so very beautiful. Do bring ear plugs if you don’t want to be awoken at 5am though. There are some steep steps to climb to get into the apartment, with good hand rails and automatic lighting. Volkan is a great host, he provided my sister and I with plenty of recommendations and was available for our needs. We will definitely miss the apartment, the neighborhood and the wonderful people we met during our stay. If we are every fortunate enough to be back in Sultanahmet, we hope Volkan would have us stay again.

great location. steps away from the major old town sights. lots of restaurants nearby. also next to a bazaar for shopping. apartment was clean. brand new washing machine. volkan was very responsive and was quick to answer all my questions. he also helped me with airport transfer. one thing to note- infrastructure is old so you cannot flush toilet paper down the toilet and will have to use the trash can.

Volkan was very accommodating from the start. Our flight arrived on time but the shuttle took longer than expected. Volkan made sure to be there upon our arrival and constantly offered advice to make our trip more enjoyable. The apartment is located within walking distance of the major sites and close to restaurants. But one can jump on the tram and visit other parts of Istanbul that are less touristy. Volkan is a great source of suggestions, tips (ranging from the culinary to the transportation) and has a great sense of humor. The apartment is located near all the major must-see places in Sultanahmet. The airport shuttle is about a 5 min walk. Apartment was very clean and organized and the kitchen was lightly stocked with the essentials (coffee, sugar, tea) and a few extras.

Volkan’s place was comfortable and in a great location. Communication was excellent and Volkan quickly responded to our questions and concerns that we had throughout our stay. Volkan was very helpful with providing places to eat and tips about getting around Istanbul. There was a mishap with the drainage in the apartment during our stay but Volkan quickly fixed it and had our apartment cleaned which we greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend staying here to family and friends and would stay here again if I come back to Istanbul.

Volkan's place is in an ideal location as it is very close to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and so much more. It was easy to take the tram to Dolmabahce Palace as the tram line is also very close. There are great places to eat nearby some with rooftop terraces for excellent views. Volkan responded to all questions promptly. He arranged airport transfer for a reasonable fee and shared his recommendations for places to eat. His place is clean and comfortable. We spent 6 nights and the beds were comfortable after days of site seeing. The shower had hot water and the room is separate from the little toilet room with sink. There is a little fridge which was great for putting leftovers in and then using the cookware and hotplate to reheat them. There is a washer and a drying rack too. It was chilly during our visit, but Volkan had little heaters as well as wall AC/heater units for staying toasty warm. In my opinion, the apartment was good value for the money spent to stay there.

Volkan is a lovely and thoughtful host and has a lovely apartment! On the apartment - its a fabulous location literally 3 mins walking to all the main sites and the tram station, very clean, easy to find and cosy! Volkan was a great host, very welcoming and especially waiting for us when we got late checking in due to traffic and also kind enough to get us some water. He was very quick replying to queries and sharing local tips and recommendations. It was a pleasure staying at the apartment and I would and it to any of my friends visiting Istanbul!

Thank you brother Volkan for your excellent hosting last week. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in at your apartment. Very clean, safe apartment and it was in such a central location. You went above and beyond the call of duty at all times during our stay! From taking us to dinner every day, advising on which restaurants to eat at and negotiating shopping deals at the grand bazar. My stay at Volkan’s self contained 2nd floor “penthouse” apartment could not have been better. I was in town for 3 nights and man was I lucky his place was available! An easy/ flat 5 minute walk to The Blue Mosque & Hagia Sophia is incredible, extremely clean, most comfy bed ever, washer comes with a DRYER + great wifi & tv. In a city of 20MM people, his place is so QUIET - tucked away on this amazing little side street. Above all else, his hospitality - unmatched! He has planned out my entire trip in Turkey for 30 days which I am so grateful for. This is one of those Airbnb stays the company envisioned - you won’t go wrong here.

Really good appartment, clean, full of daylight. Felt like you were at home. Windows kept whatever noise away (e.g. prayers in the morning). Kitchenfacilities was also fine. Loved not being in a hotel (breakfast in your nighties). Got all the help we needed from Volkan. Though in a turist-area, this place is calm and peacefull.

Volkan is a very helpful host. We landed at Istanbul airport late in the night and he made himself available until we did the check-in. He was always available . I will strongly recommend him. The place is clean and spacious. It's located in a safe tourist zone. Hagia Sophia and The Bue Mosque are in the same area. If you like night life you will have lot of choices between the nice restaurant of the neighbourhood.

Right in the heart of Sultanahmet, in the backyard of the Haiga Sophia, a few minutes walk to the train station and only a couple stops away from the bazaars, ferries, and other attractions. Volkan is a great host and was on site almost every day to answer questions and provide services. He arranged VIP trips to other cities in Istanbul and to/from the airport at really good prices. We can't thank him enough for his patience and hospitality.
